These Terms govern your use of ShelfLife, operated by Fisherbird LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use ShelfLife. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for all activity on your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Your content

Reviews, shelves, spine photos, and other content you create remain yours. You grant ShelfLife a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within the app and our marketing of it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use ShelfLife to harass other users, post unlawful content, infringe copyright, scrape the service, or attempt to interfere with its operation.

5. Communications

By creating an account you agree to receive transactional emails (account confirmation, security notices, deletion confirmations, policy updates) at the address you provided. These are necessary to operate the service and cannot be opted out of without closing the account. Marketing emails, if and when we send them, are opt-in.

6. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Account → Data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Disclaimers

ShelfLife is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fisherbird LLC's liability for any claim arising from your use of ShelfLife is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
